Teleprecision’s quantum leap in camera control technology makes CCTV a totally intuitive, easy to use tool. Rather than use conventional control devices, for example a joystick or mouse, the CCTV operator is able to control the camera position by simply pointing to the object of interest – literally by touching it when a touchscreen is used.
Not only does this make the identification of stationary objects easy, but it makes it possible to track a moving target with great accuracy. As the user is interacting with a live picture by actually touching it there is none of the classic ‘overshoot’ problem which to date has been the bugbear of remote CCTV systems.
